Q: I am planning on attending this year's festival, but I am interested in watching select artists paint. Is there any way to know where an artist will be located when they are painting?
A: Some of them will let the information tent at Devendorf Park know where they will be on a particular day. Or someone will spot them painting. Usually they don't make up their mind beforehand, or they just don't want anyone to know. My suggestion is to try to get in touch with the artist and ask them; however, we can't help you there. You might look at our map of suggested painting sites that is on our website.

Q: How can I get my gallery event into your CAF program?
A: The Pine Cone has generously offered to publish our festival program in their Art and Wine Section the weekend of the festival. Please give them your information.

Q: Can our gallery participate in the Sculpture In The Park event this year?
A: Yes. Please download the form that is linked in doc form on the CAF navigation bar, and send it in. You might also want to email us to say you are interested in participating. Special note: The rule has always been that the sculpture being exhibited has to come from one of the Carmel Galleries.

Q: Was the juried Sculpture competition open to individual artists cancelled this year?
A: Yes it was. We hope to be back on track in 2009.

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We are an outdoor event. We were tested a couple of years ago and all went well. See the tent set-up on our 2007 photo slide show on the navigation bar.

Q: I am an artist juried into your event. Could you please check to see if I am on your email list. I don't want to miss any important information as the Festival gets closer.
A: If you have not heard from CAF at all via email, it is a good idea to email us so that we have your latest contact information. But please check our CAF website every few days to see what's new.
