General Information about the Carmel Art Festival

Now celebrating its 19th year, the Carmel Art Festival is a public benefit event held to educate and inspire people of all ages about the visual arts. In 2012, the Festival will once again included the Plein Air and Sculpture-in-the-Park events, as well as a Quick Draw by the winning artists, and Kids Art Day.

Many galleries in Carmel-by-the-Sea schedule their own shows, receptions and painting demonstrations to coincide with the Carmel Art Festival. These are publicized in our festival booklet handed out FREE during the event. It's up to the galleries to get the information to the festival organizers.

Posters from the current and past years are for sale throughout the year. See link on the navigation bar. Just email us your request.
