Now celebrating its 17th year, the Carmel Art Festival is a public benefit event held to educate and inspire people of all ages about the visual arts. In 2010, the Festival included the Plein Air and Sculpture-in-the-Park events, as well as a Quick Draw by the winning artists, and Kids Art Day. The Carmel Art Festival is a non-profit organization with donations from these events supporting local youth art programs. The Carmel Art Festival is always the weekend after Mother's Day weekend.
Absentee Bidding: If you can't be at the Carmel Art Festival, you can still bid on paintings. We post ALL paintings entered into the festival.
Applications to download will be posted on website by September 1, 2010 Deadline to enter December 1, 2010 It is a juried event. Artists will be notified by March 1, 2011 if successfully juried into the show. Entry fees are non-refundable. All Plein Air painters can submit their entry forms. It is not by invitation. |
